The journey wasn’t without its challenges. Our very first prototypes, for example, were almost too effective.
“We approached this product as the ultimate wearable,” says Tom Owen, a senior designer at Curventa, the design team behind the PULSE range. Their goal was to combine oscillating technology with a sleek and comfortable design. But the obstacles were real:
- Style meets comfort – The product needed to be discreet and wearable, not bulky or loud.
- Technology refinement – Early prototypes were so powerful that testers experienced overly rapid orgasms. Owen shared “We actually found that at the beginning it worked almost too good. The first prototypes were so powerful, not unlike Multicept’s original device, that they forced male testers to orgasm too quickly.” Talk about a fine-tuning process!
