Aural Sex: 10 Erotic Podcasts To Listen To In Lockdown

Audio erotica is a booming business. While sites like Literotica and r/gonewildaudio have been around for a while, we’re seeing new female-led start-ups like Dipsea, Ferly, and Quinn getting the Silicon Valley treatment and attracting investment. It’s part of a broader trend in audio – according to a new report, nearly one in three people listen to at least one podcast every month.

If you want to find erotica on Spotify, the music platform recently launched a new curated podcast service with playlists including ‘LGBTQ+ Voices’ and ‘Talk Flirty to Me.’  Do a quick search on iTunes for ‘sexuality’ podcasts, and you’ll find a diverse range of voices.

“Audio is amazing because it’s imaginative; it requires you to paint a picture in your brain that’s very stimulating, and it’s super intimate and very personal,” Dipsea co-founder and CEO Gina Gutierrez told TechCrunch recently. With less visual input, your imagination has to fill in the gaps and work a bit harder.

1. Dipsea

Dipsea is a female-founded startup with over 250 sexy short stories ‘for foreplay or masturbation’. Aimed at women, you can listen to Her + Her, Her + Him, and Her + Them stories (no non-binary options yet) with queer, straight, diverse themes, and a range of hotness. 2. Savage Lovecast

Classic erotica in this erotic fiction podcast with the doyenne of online aural erotica, Rose Caraway, aka the Sexy Librarian. Rose is a writer, narrator, editor and podcaster who freely celebrates all things erotica with her husband, Dayv. 7. Sex With Strangers

8. Girl On The Net’s audio porn

Since the project launched in 2017, it’s taken off – with audio porn now by far the most popular category on the site.
